This 630 lb. Blue Marlin was caught on October 13, 2003. The angler, Wayne Cooley, caught this with a 80 lb. Test main line. It took over an hour to bring in. The lucky angler was fishing for a half-day aboard the Renegade. This fish was the largest fish caught in Kona for that month. Wayne had the Marlin bill mounted on a beautiful Koa wood base and that will probably be a conversation piece for generations.
